Wow! One of those I-might-cry-but-no Animes. For a serious story line this sure does have a nice happy feel to it, but I’m not complaining ^^ the story line was great- though the first few episodes didn’t really explain much about any of my questions so you have to assume a lot, the second half really sped up and got me hooked! Thank god for the second season on the way because that was NOT the amazing ending I was expecting. Definitely a cliffhanger -_- I absolutely loved the character design and the fact it managed many different genres but still stayed down to earth with the plot. Loved it! I can’t wait for the next season >~< watch it!
I’m sure many have already said this season is a lot like Sword Art Online but…that’s the thing. It isn’t. The story follows the community of Log Horizon, an online roleplaying game, being teleported into the game itself. No one knows why or how, they just did. This consists of around 30,000 players all online when the new update launched. Shinoe, an awkward lone wolf decides it’s time to step away from his old ‘team’ mates. Inevitably, he ends up joining a new campaign. It’s slightly different. Instead of trying to beat the game or escape they decide to make the best of the world they have and end up starting a food company. The food within the game basically tastes like cardboard or polystyrene rice cakes. However, the seasonings and sauces have taste so by blending them together carefully they manage to make food that tastes like it would in real life. Hilarious turn on the concept, extremely enjoyable!
